Design Concept

This space is intended to be used as a secondary dining room and game room for family gatherings. The room centers around the travertine round table which creates the right setup for playing cards and conversation. The existing space came with various ornamental molding details that continue throughout the home. The task to modernize this space without clashing with the traditional aesthetics required the right balance in color pallet and furniture selection.
